Former Australia skipper Steve Smith will come back to cricket as a marquee player in the inaugural Global T20 Canada league this late spring.
The batsman, 28, is on a year restriction from national and state selection for his part in the ball-altering outrage against South Africa in March, however he can play domestic matches abroad.
