The big three of the Juventus defense is going to be back together this season.

Reportedly a swap deal between Juventus and AC Milan have been agreed.

The deal involves Gonzalo Higuain joining his third Italian club in AC Milan and Leonardo Bonucci coming back to Juventus.

Juventus on Thursday tweeted a short video of Bonucci with the caption “he is here in Turin”.

AC Milan’s Intagram account had a video of Gonzalo Higuain in their club colors with the caption “Higuain, ready to start”.

Higuain’s move away from Juventus was speculated for a long time, as the club signed five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid for a fee of £99 million.

AC Milan who have won been crowned European Champions seven times in their history will pay an initial fee of £16m as a part of the season long deal for Higuain and will have the option of penning down Higuain with the club in a permanent move for an additional fee of £32m at the end of the 2018-2019 season.

Higuain was linked with a transfer move to English Premier League club Chelsea, where Sarri took over as the new manager from Antonio Conte.

Higuain was previously the most expensive player in Italy, his move from Napoli to Juventus was for £75.3m in 2016, which then was a domestic record.

Higuain had scored 40 goals for Juventus in his two seasons at Turin.
